In response to a specific brief from Mr Gandy, Lux Classics’ Parry Chana was able to draw upon his worldwide network of contacts, his considerable knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz marque and a natural instinct for the ‘right’ car, to source this 1960 190SL. All inspections, negotiations, logistics and transportation were taken care of by Lux Classics. A thoroughly seamless process from brief to delivery.
Parry then commissioned a full body-off restoration to meet the exact requirements of the original search brief. The vehicle now finished in stunning period Glasurit Anthracite Gray metallic has subsequently been shown at The Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall and the Brooklands Mercedes-Benz World.
