Vehicle Description

DATE OF MANUFACTURE: MAY 1959 | COLOUR: SILVER METALLIC (608) / BLACK LEATHERETTE

This is an original 2 owner, well documented, matching numbers, 1959 Porsche 356A Super Cabriolet.

This car was one of the last few ‘A’ cars to roll off the production line until production of the “B” variant started. Nick Faure, a leading authority on the Porsche marque (also featured in the Jan 2016 edition of Classic Cars) has driven this particular car and remarked. "This 1959 A is the pinnacle of 356 quality. This cars drive’s exactly how they used to in 1959. The link pins, kingpins and steering wheel are very tight".

This unrestored 1959 Porsche 356A Super Cabriolet has only had one paint in 1983 which has held up extremely well. It’s second ownership was recorded from 1962-2014. The car is in immaculate condition and has been well-preserved with a recorded 55,400 miles. Original Cars in this condition are seldom available outside private collections and are often seen as entries for Concours ‘Preservation Class’.

This car is duty paid and located in the UK.
